Extensive ballistic and impact protection? Check."

===========================
Armor made from materials scavenged from Old World caches and other materials or armors, this survival set is rough and sturdy, built over the years to take a beating and make sure the wearer gets out of any scuffle alive.
The armor has a cloak over its shoulders, back, and a hood for the head, to protect from the elements and help hide the wearer.
The armor is modular, and is waiting to be upgraded and changed.
Armor Ballistic and Impact Protection:
The armor uses a type of ballistic weave known as "Sync Wear", which is more flexible and oddly more protective. The Sync Wear is used as an underlayer in the torso, arms and legs, while Ballistic Shock Plates cover the thighs, upper arms, and chest/back.
Overall this means the armor is capable of absorbing the kinetic energy of a bullet or impact, disperse it among the Sync Wear, and reduce the damage of the bullet or impact. A hit to the Ballistic Shock Plates further reduces the damage and impact.
Blunt trauma still has its effects, and higher caliber bullets are capable of piercing the armor.
