Am I The Only One That Preferred The Year Two IB Weapons?
They just look better. They're more fun to use. They don't have useless pointy parts.

I like the current IB weapons and gear but I agree with the OP that the year two IB weapons looked and felt much better. I still use my Finnala's peril and Weyloran's March over the year three equivalents. I got lucky with a good roll on the Finnala's, check it out on my Warlock.

1 ReplyDifferent design ethic. The Y1 and Y2 weapons are modern weapons that just have a paint scheme that is IB/Iron Wolves themed. The Y3 weapons are designed to match the "Dark Ages Nordic warrior" theme of the Iron Lords and Iron Banner gear for the year. So the idea is to create a firearm....that still looks like something Conan the Barbarian would use.

1 ReplyIron wreath was awesome, all the others just didn't really do much for me. Wheylorans March looked cool because it looks like Efrideets spear. But it's low impact just made it not the best choice of sniper rifles at the time.

The Year 2 kit was far better, the current stuff look's like it was cobbled together by a mad medieval monk who had no idea what he was doing.

1 ReplyEdited by Swiftlock: 3/21/2017 7:15:35 AMNah. The Y1 IB weapons will always be the best. Felwinter's Lie, Jolder's Hammer, Radegast's Fury, Timur's Lash, Gheleon's Demise, and Efrideet's Spear would still be top-of-the-line weapons to this day.

Finnala's, Hatchet, Nirwens, Sidearm and Rocket were all godly. 👏 Ther rest were meh imo.
