This community's logic on balance.
Something kills you = Automatically needs nerf. Seriously? Are you people really that low?
Just because it's effective doesn't mean it's a crutch.
Grow a pair and stop ruining this game with your godawful crying.

9 RepliesA buddy and I have been saying since the first few weeks of this game that as far as secondaries go... what they needed to do is out the special ammo to spawn twice a match and balance ice breaker, invective, universal, and NLB in accordance with this change. Then all that's left is to get the primaries all within roughly the same kill time so that then it's more about preference.

I bet you even if there was truly perfect balance all it would take is 1 streamer to say x weapon has .000000000000000000000000000000001% faster ttk and withing an hour the amount of players using it would rise 30% and in a day 80% of people would be using it after 3 days.

5 RepliesLets just go back to year 1 and rebalance everything without nerfing anything as in make everything "op" so then its only preference on what people like to use may not ve the best idea but its better than everyone using sidearms as primaries

6 RepliesI agree with you to some degree... but the "whole community" doesnt do it, its maily the small minority of the feedback community of a few hundred who speak for the couple thousands of players when they demand "(insert here) needs a nerf!!" Bungie listens because when you get overwhelming negitive feedback on something, it needs to be changed. The problem stems from the community, they irresponsiblely give negitive feedback and its become a weapon itself. Whenever something shows potential, people either conform or conflict with it, the rational few [b]adapt[/b] with it. Those who conform are called the "crutch loving meta-slaves" and those who conflict with it are called the "nerf herding crucible cry-babies"

The crying for nerfs vs the crying when Bungie drops a patch, including this post, is a 10 to 1 ratio. The whole "stop crying" and adapt advice can easily be applied to dealing with the fact that Bungie is going to change things up from time to time. We're in three years and 6 patches deep and you people are posting the same shit... what's hilarious, and sad, is the fact that you guys drone on about, complaining to the community as if they will or COULD change anything.
