Cuz it's shady as -blam!-, people have absolutely no reason to be actually nice to other people on the interney. And it just ends up looking weird.

Nah it just takes too much unnecisarry effort to be nice to one random dude on the internet that will most likely not even give a shit.

I don't think it's unnecessary. And some people are just genuinely kind. No reservations. So it doesn't matter if it's a friend IRL or a random person on the internet, they're just nice.
