i cant play this game anymore crucible now more punishing then dark souls

im glad that hand cannons are buffed, but i get killed with every engagement now, match's become instantly biased towards the enemy team, only because 1 or 2 enemy players hangs back while my team loses all there special ammo within 1 minute(feels like trials), then picks us off while we try to pick up ammo every time. most of my close quarter kills are from shotguns and throwing knives, but i normally get 1 or 2 kills then instantly die before the patch came out. the only good guns that i am good at now are a ill will and a grim citizen. i cant even get fusion rifle kills anymore thanks to the punishing (bias towards side arms) loss of ammo, we should lose some ammo when we die not all of it instantly.then get treated like 10 puppies getting shot by a 22lr rifle in a 20 gallon bucket ya some might survive but most won't. i use to enjoy the frustrating moments when im losing to a good team but now its like im losing 200,000+ souls in dark souls 5x in a row (not new game+ or ++), before i had a chance to spend them. i cant play this game anymore i wont be getting destiny 2 if this continue's and i wont be playing anymore live events thanks to this i simply wont enjoy them like i use to anymore

  • and the up coming balance update still does not solve the issue of the drought of special weapons PS: side arms are meant to backup a sniper when enemy's get to close that is why they are rarely used because snipers are always trying to find a field advantage before engaging the target

  • I can get fusion rifle kills they are a bit harder to get but i can still get alot of them

      Pic is just for funsies The only advice I could possibly give would be to review your control scheme and maybe wait to attain higher armor light levels before joining matches so your abilities regen on time. Are you using default controls? Puppeteer replaces the "player highlight" button on the right stick with the more combat-centric 'crouch'. Swapping L1,R1 and L2,R2 give you an instantaneous response time when ADS and shooting (then again your melees and supers may be sloppy). And if swapping the triggers does tickle your fancy, you can try using your right index finger to push what buttons you can reach on the pad for seamless weapon switching and more (i.e. 'claw grip'). This leaves you slipping your right ring finger under and over R2 occasionally to melee. If you like, throw in some button shortcuts in the PS4 Accessibility menu for (almost) guaranteed beautiful results.

      • and with the changes it almost feels like they were trying to introduce more chaos into every pvp gametype when most gametypes are more unintentionally/intentionally designed with sudden chaos rather then constant chaos like mayhem and clash because thats how rift and control feel like now more like clash and mayhem gametypes

      • in all honesty hawkmoon should be able to slightly out range all hand cannons because it is designed for high accuracy at high range but since its so bouncy that slight boost will still be difficult to control unless ur waiting for ur shot my ill will out performs hawkmoon because of its slow fire rate

      • and the elimination gametypes sounds pretty good and may give me an edge with less skilled team mates

      • and the melee, auto rifle, pulse rifle, changes fits very well now plus that jug nerf helps too

        and if ice breaker and invectives ammo regen rates remain the same they become rather useless since i have to wait longer to get that shot off making u more useless to ur team so losing all ammo apon death essentially breaks there roll in pvp hence my mention of losing some ammo but they should lose more ammo then non re-gen special weapon

      • The problem is they nerfed one thing but then buffed the other which was already as strong. It's classic Bungie.
