You don't need a gun to protest. And the only time the Americans rose up against a 'tyranical' government was before the constitution was even written, so its had zero affect on keeping tyrants out. Call me a cynic but I can't see the American people getting off their arses to get rid of a tyrannical government any time soon, and God knows nows the time to be doing it. In the mean time you guys have been slaughtering each other like there's no tomorrow, and then when people tell you maybe you can't be trusted with guns, you get all indignant and point to this mythical revolution that's never happened or going to happen. You're not fooling anyone, you need guns to protect you from other people with guns.
