I'd agree with you, except the US has had loads of corrupt governments and you've never done anything about it. Politically you're about as docile as they come, even the French have got a better track record of standing up to government abuse.

Actually, there's numerous protests throughout the nation. And if the government continues to push their luck, then these petty riots could become something more. Not some silly threat, more of an observation. Also, it wouldve been better to call it a tyrannical government so that's a mistake on my end.

You don't need a gun to protest. And the only time the Americans rose up against a 'tyranical' government was before the constitution was even written, so its had zero affect on keeping tyrants out. Call me a cynic but I can't see the American people getting off their arses to get rid of a tyrannical government any time soon, and God knows nows the time to be doing it. In the mean time you guys have been slaughtering each other like there's no tomorrow, and then when people tell you maybe you can't be trusted with guns, you get all indignant and point to this mythical revolution that's never happened or going to happen. You're not fooling anyone, you need guns to protect you from other people with guns. You'll happily give some redneck policeman with six months training the power of life and death over your citizens and then bleat that its neccessary for your protection and you'd literally vote in the -godwinslaw!- party if they told you you could keep your guns, so all this political bullshit about how they're essential to maintain your freedoms doesn't wash. Americans want guns cos they're scared of other Americans with guns, that's all there is to it.

Sadly true.
