So are you saying you have book and a pen? Why is that relevant? There is a big difference between easy and hard to get. To me these would fall somewhere in between. To put into context hard would be Mark of unbroken, 7th column, ran out of medals. Again, glad he is happy. I don't think these are hard to get. We just gave a different opinion on this matter. I'm going to have to agree with you on this, having 30 days in the crucible and only 30 phantoms does not equate to being easy to get.

No one said they were easy. I stated not that hard. To put into context the only hard ones would be say, Mark of unbroken, 7th column, ran out of medals.

Difficulty is relative to the player, for this individual it was hard, and he is excited he got one. I think the fact that he achieved something in the game he is proud of is something that should make every destiny *player glad. The majority of people I play regularly with are excited just to go positive in a match, I am always happy for them when they do.

He is happy he got this medal. Good on him. I have found that pvp medals tend to have a lot to do with play style. For example, I assume a shotgun rusher would find a phantom medal hard. Alternatively I have a friend that expects to get one almost every match. He uses invis hunter corner camp shotgun, and also stay behind team mates and clean up kill. Have a nice day buddy. PS have you be into pvp since the update? Reaction?

Perhaps, I just don't understand why anyone would make an obviously condescending remark about someone who is excited about an achievement of any kind. Everyone's bar is not set at the same height.

Wouldn't it be wiser to check his Hunter, considering that's obviously his main?

Don't think I've ever had one, is there a way to check? Just like I've never got a quadruple kill with d.va and I'm far from a scrub in that game. My sister has like 3 quintuplet kills alone.

Use destinytacker.com to check your medals. Use the "other" tab, then "medals and weapons".
