I only run stim. It's ability to get batteries very fast in LTS is invaluable. In Pilot playlists, I run alternator, so I can use it for either a) run and gun or b) to get to another place quickly so I can map someone. Fun fact: if you tap-fire hipfire on the Alternator, you get no recoil. Makes it way more consistent because the hip fire will always shoot in the same spot that way.
