Yeaahhhhh no. They nerfed range too. And made bloom worse. Sit there and slowly pick your shots with a Hawkmoon and let me know how that works out for you. It sucks cause my favorite weapon has now been completely [i]grounded,[/i] pun intended.

We don't know they can exclude Exotics from nerf and buffs that affect the type that it is in. We may see a rise in the Hawkmoon and Thorn or we may see them go right down the toilet. We won't know till the patch notes are released.

You evidently didn't watch the stream. They said "all hand cannons" will receive that range drop off and increased bloom. Hawkmoon is done for

Actually I watched it 3 times and while they said all Hand Cannons, in the past they have excluded Exotics from changes. In fact The Chaperone won't have precision dmg removed, so how hard is it to think they won't touch the Hawkmoon's range. We won't know for sure till the 14th. I know it is easy to get discouraged because of the way Bungie has done crap before but let's find out for sure before we burn the theater down.

They did say they are telling us the good news(meh news) and saving the great news for the patch

Indeed, they've already said precision damage for chaperone will stay. They'd have said so if Hawkmoon wouldn't be effected.
