I know it's not a guaranteed drop for others, however since the beginning of Taken King I have not had this issue until recently. Last few updates from last year. I used to get engrams 95% of the time irrespective of who put their rune in. I just went 0/6. If the devs didn't do this on purpose to cause enough anguish so that people are forced to go to Xbox One just to play a game that is starting to become redundantly whimsical, then something is wrong with the system. Not sure if this is related but I still receive green engrams on my other characters when they are all at level 40, 300+ light.
