I don't understand why anyone would tip or pay for subscriptions for any streamer unless they are young, impressionable, stupid, idiot children who need validation. When you're old enough to understand the value of money maybe these dopes will spend it more wisely than to just throw it at some yahoo who has a good KD in a video game. Streamers are just glorified buskers.

AmazonPrime allows you to give a free subscription every month that I give out to small streamers that do funny gimicky things when they get a new sub. I feel the same as you, but I don't hate on the people that do sub because their money is supporting some of the streamers that allow us to complete certain activities with out spending 40 hours trying to do it. For instance, Datto finds all sorts of things and then shares the information to everyone else. The only reason he has the time to solve this things is because of his supporters that allow him to play videogames full time. Would I do it? No. but I sure do appreciate those that do

It gives you Twitch Prime which then gives you one free sub to give out every month for free. The Streamer still gets the same payout, but it's not coming out of your pocket essentially it is coming out of amazons I guess since they own twitch
