Then bloom changes would have to happen because it would be less accurate and run out bullets quicker. I think it should have no damage fall of when fired from hip but keep everything the same besides that

No damage drop-off? Are you insane?

WHEN HIPFIRED

Doesn't matter

Edited by iDovahBear: 1/27/2017 9:30:12 PMYou think no drop-off while hipfiring wouldn't be balanced enough . . . ? I get that it sounds risky at first, but the way it hipfires isn't that precise, especially at range. It won't be doing much of anything worth worrying over. Unless it bugs and gets that effect while ADS.

Bring it back to y1 damage

Bloom and ghost bullets occur the most at mid range. If someone is running straight at a LW user, then it's better to hip fire. Also, even if the magazine goes dry faster, that's part of the risk/reward of this idea. You can take out a target much more efficiently, but at the cost of needing to reload sooner, and having to be a bit closer.

You would be reducing its range though. When hipfired because if you are hipfiring you are probably going full auto. If you had no damage fall off you could get that crispy 50x4 kill while hipfiring more often. Don't get me wrong I would love to see a change to the last word as it is my favorite primary and any change would be exciting

Omg I'm not suggesting no damage fall off man. That would be traumatizing to see again! Here here: Leave the range and stability untouched. We don't want to break anything. Give the gun a faster RoF from the hip. Leave the option to ADS the same as it is. This buff would only work reliably in close range, as the faster rate of fire would increase the recoil a bit, making it harder to stay on target at a distance. But if the target is at point-blank rage, they're much easier to hit.
