The ones I use the most are plan c and the waiting with acc coils and rangefinder (makes it the same archetype). I also love the old vendor vacancy and Saladin's vigil. I'm definitely a vooper for life.

I havent been able to make the waiting work for me. But ive come against a few voopers who destroyed me at every turn with it. I occasionally use saladins vigil when I want some range, but ive got so used to getting out of bad situations that I put myself in with Plan C, that its hard to give up that quick swap blast.

I know the waiting isn't a very popular choice, I almost never see it. Personally, i like it a lot because, for one, I'm just really used to it, but secondly, with acc coils, it has the same range (with rangefinder), charge rate (when the plan c exotic perk isn't activated), and impact (5 bolt kill) as the plan c. Also, since its base impact is only 1 stat point short of being a 4 bolt kill, it's one of the only fusions that keeps the same bolts to kill a full armor guardian (5) when you use accelerated coils, so there's no real detriment to using the perk (unlike Saladin's).

Yeah, you definitely have to change your playstyle when using higher impact fusions like the vigil (and even more so with the highest impact fusions like darkblade's spite/77 wizard). Gotta tone down the aggression a bit and up your patience level. I'm still best with the plan c archetype as well, but I'm getting more and more acclimated to the vigil archetype now. I don't know if I'll ever be able to deal with the charge rate of the 77/darkblade archetype though ha, painful.
