Stewarding leisure time

The completionist in me wants to platinum destiny.... the free spirit in me wants to remain free from the game's clutches. I've had a full year away from destiny. Looking at my stats I logged about 40 days across 3 guardians and have 70% of the achievements. Currently I play some LoL, some gauntlet (Arrowhead) and enjoy a healthy balanced life. I also feel an itch to explore some modern games with higher frame rates or resolutions, that can utilise the PlayStationPro's capabilities. As such I've pre ordered HzD & Nier which are set to release in 6 weeks. The other itch has to do with the fact I am devoting myself to destiny 2 on release. Bungle must have something special planned for the original, current, and the hardcore player base. Bungie want to reward these players within the sequel, and they'll probably do this with aesthetic rewards such as emblems, shaders and even titles (like the guild wars completionist title 'Kind of a big deal' or 'I have many leather bound books'). I believe I can invest into my destiny 2 experience by working through all of the remaining destiny 1 content. I could collect all of the exotics, complete the remaining activities within destiny, and acquire the Destiny platinum trophy. We may be rewarded for these achievements in the sequel and I desire that sense of honour for when the game is released. I know the danger of elitist culture exists. I am considerate of the toxic potential of 'haves' and 'have nots'. On the positive, most of us can relate to feeling a sense of nostalgia, ownership, honour, and accomplishment, having invested so much time into a thing we love. Feel free to share your advice, personal experiences and any other comments.
