I've fallen out of love with raids, I've grown to dislike the thought of having to rely on other people doing their job when it becomes evident they are not up to the task. Kind of like my real job actually come to think of it.

In my opinion, the raids themselves are great, it's just people not doing their job that irritates me.

I think the best reward to come from my raiding recently isn't the loot, it's finding a team that can actually do what they need to do. I've gotten more satisfaction from a clean finish than any of the actual rewards. A good team is more rare than the rarest loot.

If you find a good team it's like magic. Yesterday I played vog 3 times in a row with some friends. My god I need to raid with them more. It was like a damn speedrun

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Performance%20Punishment Performance Punishment has been a thing decades before Urban Dictionary, but IMO, this is the most accurate part: "This is common in the military, other government jobs, or large corporations where, due to bureaucracy, it is difficult to get rid of a bad employee".

The worst part is that everyone knows this, but when it comes up in management training everyone just shrugs and says "well, what can we do...?"

Work wise, I only give two shots, if I have to reprimand you a third- you're fired. Game wise, I honestly could give a shit less if people mess up unless it's purposeful.

You just blew my -blam!-ing mind
