I will admit that most people I've heard from are pretty tired of the gimmicks, however the thing that will make people buy it, and probably one of the main reasons the pre orders are sold out would be the Nintendo exclusive games that are coming out for it.

Gimmicks only get consoles so far. The Wii's gimmicks helped it along well because it was the first time motion controls were mainstream. After more than ten years, I would like something more than just gimmicks from Nintendo.
