I think one of their biggest missteps is not capitalizing on their IPs. Kid Icarus, Metroid, Star Fox, Smash Bros., Bayonetta, and many others are nowhere to be seen.
Not to mention the shape of the "tablet" form of the console. It's flat on the back. Why? WHY? WHY?!?!
That's the same EXACT thing that the Wii U controller got slammed for, and they had to redesign it! SO flipping frustrating.
Then you have the cost of accessories and lack of bundles at launch.
This might be something to buy a year or so from now, when the price drops but it's a horrible launch day purchase.

Nintendo announced it's working on something Metroid. I'm holding my breath on that one. People want a proper Metroid game and not another Federation Force.
-
I want them to remaster their older games. And change those insane planetary numbers.

I was just about to say, last time they said that were working on a Metroid we got Federation Force. Not that Federation Force is bad, it's just HORRIBLE timing and not what any of the Metroid fans wanted.

I do agree about them not announcing more games. There is a perception with Nintendo that Microsoft and Sony do not have to deal with and that is a worry about there being a drought of games. By announcing a bunch of games, even if they are far out, you alleviate those worries. Now this thing launches in March and E3 is only three months later so they could get away with doing a blast of game announcements then.

Yeah, which is why I feel like it's best to wait on it. Cause launch day, it ain't looking all that impressive.

What exactly is wrong with the back of it being flat? And it does have stand, so if the issue is not being able to stand or prop it up or anything, then that's already solved. But why exactly would it being flat be such a big issue? I'm really not seeing any problem with it...plus, if it's not flat, then docking it is more of an issue and becomes something much more complicated than it needs to be.

You must have never played with the original Wii U controller. It was horrid. It made your hands hurt before they put the hand bump/rests on the back. You could design the bumps to where they fit around the dock, and you could still have the kickstand on there. Besides, the undocked Switch is really small. A guy with big hands like me can't play it for too long.
