Dear Ninja Moderators
Hi,
I am fresh back from a ban, a ban I got for the following.

So I called them out on their hypocrisy as they were saying one thing whilst doing another, or as a lot of us like to call it being hypocrites. The other part is where I criticise their actions, not them but their actions. This is apparently the way to go these days and is the advice given out by various think tanks. Criticise the action and not the person so I did and got banned.
Now this seems a little bit zealous to me and quite confusing. Afterall a forum is for debate but how can we do that if we are unable to criticise the posts of others.

Seemingly then we cannot even refer to players as just players without risking a ban. For example referring to a group as cheats because they cheat is a ban? (I am asking a question not stating an opinion here.)
I know their is a code of conduct out there but it really isn't useful if we cannot criticise anything at all is it on a forum?
So can a moderator confirm the following?
Stating that Idi Armin acted in an evil way could result in a ban?
Stating the [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url] (remember I got banned for criticising groups) committed evil acts during the holocaust could result in a ban?
Would the moderators perhaps suggest then that rather than confronting things that are plainly wrong we should perhaps hug a [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url] instead and say, "There, there, good boy."?
Please be aware I am asking a question and am not stating any of the above things as facts or opinions. I'll let history do that for me.

Yet the guy who was trolling called me a scrub and he gets nothing. Good job. Ninjas. Used to have more respect for them because they sought after unintelligent insults and banned frequently which made the forums very nice in the Halo 2/3/ODST/Reach days. Now they only respond to reports made by trolls.

i came across a ninja in crucible on Skyline (recognized the gt)....proceeded to hunt this ninja down and finished with 17 or so kills (and 11 of them were the ninja only)....at one point i sniped this ninja at "A" spawn and i ran across the middle, sniped the ninja again at "C" spawn, ran back to "A" and sniped the ninja a third straight time!.....it was too much ....lol...got hate mail that said i was a scrub with a crutch, i replied that i was just a retard with an Event Horizon...the reply back was that i can be banned (this confirmed the gt was a ninja) i said back ' what?, for calling myself a retard in a pm?'....'just go ahead and admit to yourself that you got owned especially since you figured out that you were singled out by one enemy player and still couldn't stop me.....never head back from this ninja again!!! -

Do what the fanboys do: make a bunch of fake accounts and spam the report button until one of the ninjas just bans them. They hardly ever read what is reported and if they do I guarantee they do so out of context

The policy is pretty all encompassing from being vague. Bans depend more on reports than calculated enforcement or deserving of bans. Probably why it's so inconsistent. Volunteers have a lot of power to pretty much enforce vague rules that assume everyone will be more polite than kids at grandmas house with the threat of a Wooden spoon just for saying that sucks.

And they all probably go crying to link the comments to moderators and beg for punishment lol. Funny thing is that's all [b]after[/b] they get a few quick personal attacks/condescending insults in by replying. But [i]they're the victim..[/i]. Lol. Sure.. And when they see their threads having low bumps, they blame "a group of haters with multiple accounts." LOL. Yea it can't be that your threads are annoying, too long, or lame af so most people downvote. [i]It has to be a few people with enough alt accounts to keep the numbers low[/i]. Lol. Sure.

One was about the RNG where I did 17 strike chests for one imago loop that was a pvp roll and I don't play pvp all that much. My post is gone and I can't find it. Another post was about the maps for pvp and how they feel like pve maps. I'm new to the forums so I didn't know they erase things for no reason or if they don't like it? I figured it's glitchy like their game or something. It's called censorship of information and manipulating content.

Obviously a corporate forum under a company flag needs moderators. And in this case their moderators do it for free. Less of course cosmo Deej or other bungie employees that occasionally grace their costumers with their presence. But when you have a group working for zilch don't expect much. Power corrupts. Even on a video game forum.

I have no love for the ninjas, they can rarely justify their actions, hide beyond their power, are inconsistent and use their own opinion to interpret the code of conduct. What do you expect though, they're volunteers. None of them actually do this for money so there's no point expecting any standards from them. Bungie doesn't give 2 shits about the forums, they still haven't even [u]put a search function in admin tools[/u] and it took them 2 years to add a clan list ingame. #inb4ban

You cant name anybody or any group. Doesnt matter if you have a feature length film proving someone is insulting/cheating/glitching/DDOSing you just cant name them on these forums. You have to just report them and pray someone at Bungie follows up on it, which of course you will never know because you aren't informed if they do take action.

This includes call outs, "naming and shaming", etc. I'm sure you can refer to groups as they are, just not by seemingly targeting them. And this applies mostly to making a thread, by the way. Also, you should've sent this question to the moderator involved. We weren't involved with the situation and can't completely be sure about the situation(even if you give proof). I would recommend you to clear this thread and take this problem to that particular moderator. Good day.
