Shadestep Ability.
I was wondering if anyone knew what Nighstalkers do when they Shadestep? From what I know Voidwalkers are able to rip a hole in space time in order to Blink but wasn't sure if Shadestep used a similar method or if it was something else entirely.

Upon entering this form, since they're basically a gas, the air behind them from their dive propels them in the direction they were heading. However, due to the super high viscosity of the gas, they retain most of their core humanoid shape throughout the maneuver. If you want to gloss over the space magic part of turning into a gas and back, basically Hunters spike the core temperature of both themselves and their gear so quickly that they sublimate (and evaporate, in the case of blood and other fluids). And at the end of the maneuver they cool their gear and themselves so rapidly that they undergo deposition (and condensation, in the case of blood and other fluids). [spoiler]I completely made this up, but it's plausible in the sense that ripping holes in space time with your bare hands and traveling through them is also plausible.[/spoiler]

So remember in the y2 raid when you absorb that taken thing and then you can see the platforms? Like that but with the void. They enter the void and dive in any direction and then exit.

To shadestep is to dissolve your body in the void energy and quickly shift from one place to another.

What they do is dissapear into gas and shoot before out of the animation. Its called lag, but destiny didnt test it.

From my experience, when a Hunter shade steps they quickly transport to the LoL community to harvest their salt so they can fuel more sweet shotgun sprees. True stuff.

Most ridiculous ability in the game

They just tuck and roll. However, if you ever killed one mid Shadestep, you'll get the medal "I See You", this is because they toss down a smoke bomb to cloak them as they evade.
