Faction chosen strictly by weapon availability therefore FWC (hand cannon, fast rof pulse, fusion) hoping to get good rolls when I rank up.
Most of the other faction weapons are just not for me.
I care not for any of the 3 ideologies, particularly as they have no bearing on the game.

I was the same way. In year one it was New Monarchy and year 2 was Dead Orbit. This year is all about the FWC. I've been leaning towards them as ideologies too. The war is already going on.
