Game Series You've Played The Longest?
Which games do you still play today that you've been playing for a long time?
Which game introduced you to the series, and how old were you when you first played it?

Gears or Pokémon. I've played the original of both series and continue to play them to this day. That said, I'm certain I've played more Pokémon games than I have gears of war games.

I don't remember the actual first Sonic game I played, but the one that really got me into it was Sonic Heroes & Shadow the Hedgehog. To this date, the only 3D main series Sonic games I've missed (far as I know) are Lost World & technically Colors. (I have the latter, but never got around to playing it. However, while Sonic is the series I've played the longest consistantly, I have played a Kirby game before I played Sonic (Kirby 64) and have also played one more recently (Planet: Robobot), but I don't play it near as much. [spoiler]Kirby! Kirby! Kirby! That's a name you should know! Kirby! Kirby! Kirby! He's the star of the show! He comes RIGHT back at'chya! He comes RIGHT back at'chya! He's more than you think, he's got maximum pink! He'll come right back at'chya for sure! NME Salesman: "How can I help you, King DeDeDe?" DeDeDe: "I need a monster to clobba that there Kirby!" NME: "That's what we do best here at NME!" Escargoon: "You'd better get it with a money back guarantee!" He comes RIGHT back at'chya! He comes RIGHT back at'chya! He's more than you thibk, he's got maximum pink! Kirby, Kirby, Kirby's the one![/spoiler] I have no idea if I did either of those two songs correctly. :T

Most obvious for me on here is Halo. Otherwise? Depends on how you define 'still play', actually. Because The Orange Box now works on Xbox One... I've been meaning to replay HL2 since, and I first picked up Half-Life maybe about when it launched. I can't remember the year, but if it was at launch, I was 8. HL arrived more than 3 years before Halo.

Halo. Been playing since 2003, and kept my original xbox around till 2010, spending many hours playing Halo 2 and CE. Runners-up would have to be the Pokemon, Sonic, and Crash Bandicoot series.

Borderlands and Black Ops series and BF4 on PS3. Just picked up BF4 on PS4 so have restarted playing that again. If they bring out a Remastered Borderlands 1 I'd be all over it lol like flies on poop.

First game - Donkey Kong country snes Longest running - halo, I started playing it back when the CE demo came out and sergeant Johnson told you to buy two copies of the game when it came out. So round about 16 years
