You never stop getting greens.
It used to stop at around level 40, but they now added them back into the drop table for everyone to give people a constant source of armor and weapon materials.

But my warlock about the same light never gets any greens anymore, or maybe 1 in 1000 engrams. Yesterday I played the heroic story with both. Warlock got about 10 blues and 1-2 purples, hunter got almost all greens.

Strange then, all my lvl 40, 400 light classes get an equal amount of greens across all activities.
