The back section of the Tower is open today! Will Lysander and the Concordant return?

Hey everyone, here with a speculation on why the Tower's back section is opened today! If you recall, I posted about the Transmission event (the tech mites event before Rise of Iron's launch), how it worked, how to contract them, and a prediction of what it could've meant for Rise of Iron. It has received a lot of feedback and comments from Guardians all over, so I like to thank you all for contributing to the efforts of solving its workings. Now, let's get started on this new happening in the Tower. Remember where Lord Saladin's vendor location used to be in the Tower? In that back section of the Tower one floor above the Vanguard hall that's otherwise gated? It's opened today. We know that the Iron Banner vendor is now Lady Efrideet in the Iron Temple, and the Queen's Wrath, Petra Venj has been located in the Vestian Outpost ever since the House of Wolves. It could be where Lysander makes his debut and recruits Guardians to assist in the Concordant's return, the Tower's new and fourth Faction (the Concordant was actually one of the former factions that was exiled from the Tower on behalf of the Vanguard, and replaced with the Future War Cult). Lysander's return has been hinted during the Dawning, the Grimoire card upon finding the hidden Sparrow, Lysander's Cry, mentioning that Lysander lies out there in the wilderness planning his return. Lysander's quote from the Grimoire mentions that Guardians desires something: greater speed, rare weapons, a secret, etc. Now this could allude to Lysander, or his vendor, offering Guardians unique weapon, armor, and chroma packages compared to the other factions in the Tower, meaning that Guardians will be more obliged to offer their allegiance to the Concordant, or a different name in hopes of disguising its true intent, in hopes of receiving them. There are a few theories speculating the fall of the Tower before/during Destiny 2. If we're going along with this theory, The Concordant could be the cause. This event would follow the Transmission event's subtle player evaluation. The Owl Sector website mentions that Guardians who contracted the tech mites seemed to spontaneously dance and celebrate upon receiving them, which in reality we as players actually did. It could be that after a numerous amount of Guardians join the Concordant (and the large amount of glimmer "generously donated" to the faction's cause), they will rally a massive group of supporters and usurp the Tower at a later date in order to reclaim their "rightful place" on the council. Here are some elements that may follow the Concordant's return: - The new Story missions could be a pre-emptive strike towards the Concordant before they reach the Tower. Or they could take place in the Tower, possibly in parts of the City. Bannerfall could be revisited for another Story mission. - A whole new enemy faction: Guardians, humans, Exo, Awoken, or something that is not completely Darkness-related. - The Concordant could stir the House of Devils, maybe even the Splicers, into attacking the Tower in an attempt to bring it down and then occupy it afterwards. As we know, SIVA isn't completely eradicated and this could possibly reenact the Battle of the Twilight Gap, the infamous battle that we've all heard tales about. - New quests could involve the three factions uniting and having the Guardian carry out their plans in order to halt Lysander's rise to power. - Perhaps the Reef will assist in our reclamation of the Tower since they know firsthand the impact of betrayal from the House of Wolves. - Rise of Iron's backstory seems to revolve around the malicious use of Light, i.e. the Warlords, so this could be an example of how the Light can also corrupt ideology. Anyway, let me know what you Guardians think this could mean for upcoming Destiny events!
