I'm not a hypocrite so I use Middle East
-
Oh you're a flat earther. So what's at the center of a map of the earth?
-
It's not exactly known or confirmed as we have yet to get a satellite into space but it is an ocean if we are going off explored parts of Earth
-
But you can see satellite's from the ground.
-
If you don't think we've launched satellites into space, how do you think our cell phones & satellite TV companies work?

We have radio and phone towers in every corner of every country
-
You think satellite TV works through radio waves & phone towers?
-
So you think a magical spell called gravity keeps you on Earth?
-
Have you ever been on those amusement park rides that spin around and the force holds you against the wall? Is that magic, too?
-
That's because you wear safety equipment keeping you against the wall
-
You've never been on one?
-
I have. Can you explain how a plant grows upwards in a world where there is constant downwards force?
-
I have. Can you explain how a plant grows upwards in a world where there is constant downwards force?
Sure But first, that amusement park ride....all the ones I've ever been on only had belts across your lap and shoulders. That wouldn't cause you difficulty in moving your arms, head and legs. As for a plant.....it grows towards light. Put a pot sideways and will the plant grow straight out sideways or would it vend and start growing upwards?
-
I don't see how that's related to my question. I don't think gravity is a spell; I think it's a universal law that makes sense. Flat earthers believe in gravity as well, btw.

-
Explain what you think the upward current is.
-
A current the Earth and galaxy is riding on going up
-
Then why don't we get caught in the current & stay above the earth when we jump?
-
Because the Earth is always accelerating upwards
-
If the only thing accelerating the earth is the current, wouldn't it make sense for the current to accelerate us when we jump? If it didn't accelerate us at all times as well, wouldn't our bodies sink into the earth?
-
Let's say the Earth is going at 1,000kmph You jumping is 1kmph The Earth is accelerating by 1km around every 0.7 seconds When you jump you go at 1,001kmph and the Earth catches up
-
But why do I slow down? Why doesn't the current catch me & keep me accelerating as well?
-
You don't slow down the Earth speeds up, also acting as a windshield blocking the current. If you jumped off the edge of the planet you will continue accelerating
