Nice logic, "I'm bad"... Guess that about sums it up. You're exactly the type of player Bungie designed this shit for, which leads me to "F it". I'm personally not going to be elite, paid professional Cannon fodder, and I'm also not going to run trials 24/7 for the random chance that I won't play people grossly out of my skill range. More people are waking up... The writing is on the wall, it's going to eventually be exactly what it should have been all along... Skill based, because everyone who is fed up will have left.

Trials isn't supposed to be against people in your skill range. Trials is for the best of the best so if you can't compete don't complain
-
Ok, so based on that logic why shouldn't people of high skill play the best? If you are good enough to carry dead weight, you are playing players well below your skill level, most certainly not "the best". Players at top tier can often do 1V3 trials runs... How in any stretch of YOUR OWN LOGIC, are people who are really good, "playing the best". They're not, so you can take that weak assed premise to another elitist who gets a boner off of his wins.

Let me rephrase that because you cannot interpret what I said. Winning in trials is for the best of the best. Trials is not meant to be a laid back activity for players of all skill. Get over yourself and play the game.

Edited by Synge_X: 12/27/2016 4:52:54 AMI understand what you're saying, but your premise fails to address the issue of people who are not the best going flawless via carries. Currently, plenty people who are not the best, go flawless(win) hourly due to how Trials is structured, nothing you say about your ideals on winning is going to change that fact. The only reason that carries are even possible is because there is no skill-based ranking. Playing other teams at my skill level does not ensure an easy victory, why do you think that people were complaining for months about how sweaty matches were whenever standard crucible was skill based? What I'm looking for is sweaty, challenging, but obtainable matches, in a reasonable amount of time as opposed to grinding for hours waiting for a lucky run, or worse begging/paying for a carry.

If they have the money they will waste it on a carry. If everyone was good they couldn't carry. The best way to stop paid carriers if you don't like them is to stomp them

We're just going in a circles at this point. On some level I completely agree with what you're saying. However, sportsmanship and good competition comprises more than just git gud scrub".
