I'd wager that your router worked just fine before the fateful update. Ours did too.
Like you, my girlfriend and I have given up on playing together, and have mostly given up on playing this game all together. There are plenty of other games that work...instantly.

Spot on. It all worked before the update. Myself and 2 sons all with ps4 and destiny and cant be in a fireteam. WTF. Roll it back. Sort t out. Easy.

Went out and bought a new router, as of three hours ago it's working fine. Gunna test it again tomorrow of course but meh. Just encountered another issue - with SLR racers see my other post :D https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/219677864?sort=0&page=0

[/quote] Yup excatly right. We also thought it could be that we upgraded and changed to a new router. But we plugged the old one back in and it did not do anything different.
