I got that gun and went to the Cosmodrome to check it out, immediately put it in the Vault after levelling and decided 'Well that was a waste of time!' Same with Touch of Malice: spent ages hunting for fragments on my own and in HM Oryx decided after a few failures to stay alive (the gun: not the enemies) on the platforms switched to my Hung Jury and Truth, for the Knights. Never used the thing again and have never missed it for effectiveness, which is a shame cause it's just about the coolest looking weapon in the game.
Hence why I haven't finished Be The Battery...nor do I have immediate plans to.

You're right. The weapon looks so cool. Adding headseeker to it is fine and dandy, but we need the gun to just work at its basics, which is to be able to effectively shoot your target. Unclutter the sights and the problem is solved. A 10% stability boost would help as well. It will then be worthy of the exotic slot.

I agree. I can't see how it was ever tested in PvP; you can't see shit when firing and in PvE it's up against much better candidates for the exotic and even legendary slots.

Overall bungies testing of exotics needs to improve before releasing them. So many are broken right after release and require patches. Some are still broken.
