I think when I got my couple of grasps, I just chose the strike from the director. I ran it 4 times, opening the chest each time, and only pulled 2 grasps. It's just crappy luck man.
If you want to grind the strike some more, I'd be happy to help. I need more keys/grasps :)

Okay, so it's nothing super random like you have to get the kill shot to trigger it or something like that? Are you on xbox or ps4?
