Would totally be cool. But it's because the artifacts are legendary.
Same way if someone gets an LDR or Longbow from a crucible package everyone sees it

But then shouldn't it announce I got one when I pick one up from Tyra? It's odd that they announce attuning, not when receiving.

It's because it doesn't become an equippable item until you attune it.

Oh I didn't even peep it didn't do that. Well, not sure then. Someone should defs try attuning all 8 at once, I am curious
