I Guess he means he has being playing destiny through all the expansions/releases/updates etc from the start. Don't think it's more complicated than that and not requiring a salty comment.

It wasn't really a "salty" comment. Salty implies pissed or jealous, of which I am neither. Was I kind of a d bag? Probably. I guess I should've just pointed out that he has hardly any hours logged, barely stepped foot in WotM, and isn't even close to max light. Yet he wants to talk about how much there is to do in this game, without giving thought to how little he plays vs. everyone else. But I guess that, too, makes me an asshole.

I appreciate the rational comment, good sir! Thank you. But, that was kinda my whole point though. Just wishing he could acknowledge that before being so hasty to generalize the amount of content available.
