Time will tell. Look at how ED turned out and it was in a similar situation at its launch. Better example how a game can redeem itself would be FFXIV. You don't need a better example than that.

Suppose so but look what happened to Watch Dogs. The first iterations was alright nothing special like all its hype created it to be. The sequel suffered due to the reputation set in from the first. All I'm saying is that with that insignificant disappointment doing that much damage to Watch Dogs; No Mans Sky might be irreversible
