I don't reload after shooting one bullet but I barely ever let my mag go to empty. If I have the speed reload perk on my gun then I use it and even then I don't use it a lot. I take maybe 6 or 7 shots then reload. I'm working on breaking that habit as well because I used to reload after a single bullet shot. It'll take time but with enough self motivation and determination I guarantee you will break it or at the very least cut it in half. It will just take time. Good luck OP.
