Interesting to see what all those long detailed feedback posts about SBMM resulted in..

So Deej asked for feedback and the community delivered. Many wrote essay long posts with thousands of words detailing why SBMM is bad for the game. Interesting to see Bungie's response to all that: "Matchmaking is fine as it is; you just don't get it. Matching by skill isn't impacting your experience at all despite what you believe. Go play private matches if you don't like it because it's here to stay no matter how much you dislike it (or maybe play strikes)." So basically SBMM isn't going anywhere and Bungie is contradicting itself when they deny the 50% win ratio they try to maintain even though they explicitly said it before. Not to mention people do not want to be forced into sweaty matches every single time they play PvP since there is no way to measure your skill rank and no better rewards come from plying in high skill lobbies. It's just a stressful unrewarding experience that is made 10 times worse by connection issues. It's one thing to play tough opponents and another thing completely to play laggy tough opponents. They completely ignored that of course. Yeah I think it's time to find another PvP game. Overwatch, Titanfall 2 and a few others are pretty good substitutes until Bungie starts listening to their most dedicated, paying customers (or maybe play private matches.. or strikes!!!).
