what is with all the love for VoG? My God, I am so glad I never have to do that raid again. Just not fun whatsoever....

Edited by Benzene21: 11/16/2016 6:11:48 AMHe is not. He is a person playing a video game. You take it too seriously. Oh, and VoG sucks.
-
Edited by The Warden: 11/16/2016 10:51:49 AMSo people can't joke now?
vog is life
-
Blasphemy
-
It's not. He is right. Worse raid in the game.
-
Far from it. Crota's End shouldn't even be considered a raid.
-
VoG is actually closer to a strike. First half is clearing waves of enemies, which is what you do in a strike. So boring.
-
So? Just because a part is boring does not mean that it is the worst. Crota's End lacks fun due to the constant amount of glitches that drench the raid. Even KING'S FALL has less glitches, even Wrath of the Machine has less broken aspects than Crota's End. Vault of Glass has less broken parts than Crota's End. Crota's End is no raid. Should've been a story mission.
-
I repeat, VoG is closer to a strike since 50% of it is clearing waves of enemies while you defend an area. That's what you do in a strike! Regardless of glitches, CE is way more fun than VoG. Glitches are irrelevant because CE glitches are optional. You don't have to do them and 99% of the time the only glitch people exploit is the bridge one.
-
Optional?! What about the glitch where Crota jumps down? The glitch that allows the Deathsinger to kill you even after she dies? (happened to me)
-
Those are rare. I have never seen crota or Deathsinger do that and I have over 170 completions.
-
I only have 41 (because I hate doing it) and I see the Deathsinger one (at least) happen all the time. How about the bridges being fully formed but still acting like it's not a solid object? It's why I stopped doing Crota's End until I got a lucky drop of the Husk of the Pit.
-
Edited by Benzene21: 11/17/2016 9:13:13 PMDesthsinger is most likely lag or you killed her at the last second. This always happens with ANY boss that has a timer to kill you. You kill them at one second but they kill you. If it's not this, then it's lag. Bridge not being solid is either lag or not completely formed. You have to wait for the text that says the bridge is formed, otherwise you will fall through. Not a glitch.
-
The text did say it was fully formed, anybody who tried to cross it fell right through.
-
Edited by Benzene21: 11/18/2016 12:35:31 AMNever seen it. Again, a very rare case or lag. In any case, it doesn't make it a bad raid since those are flaws in game/engine/whatever design.
-
Crota's end is practically a strike, I think it wins worst raid
-
VoG first half is clearing waves of enemies. That's what you do in a strike lol
-
Crota can be soloed
-
Edited by Benzene21: 11/17/2016 5:21:45 PMonly because bungie hasn't bothered patching the cheeses.
-
It's still fairly easy without bugs
-
Edited by Benzene21: 11/17/2016 5:25:26 PMSo? Any raid is easy if you know what you are doing and have done it multiple times. Have you solo'd it? If you did, then when? Did you do it when level cap was 32? How long did it take you? How many tries? It doesn't sound easy now, does it?
-
I got Destiny like halfway through Year 1, I haven't soloed it (I haven't tried tbh) but my friend used to solo it every week on all of his characters
-
Yeah, probably when the max light was higher. You see, it's not hard or impressive to solo it if you are not 32 or lower.
-
He did it Year One and Year Two
-
In year 1 the max light was 34, which is above CE light level.
