No they wouldn't. Both libel and slander involve telling lies. Assuming Bungie had proof of cheating, no-one is gonna sue, for a) even ppl who cheat at video games aren't that pathetic. Right? Right?? Uh, OK, maybe. And b) moms PayPal won't stretch to the ace legal team that's gonna clear their name, cos they like totally never cheated to a 9-0 on 3v1s with a 0.07 kd.

Both libel and slander involve telling lies.[/quote] Correct, but if we're putting up every tom and jerry that somebody [i]claims [/i]was cheating [i]before [/i]Bungie has even reviewed them, that's gonna be full of libelous claims against innocent people along with the real cheaters. The only way this works is if it's after the fact of people being banned, not before. But even then it's a pretty pointless thing to do other than to prove to us that our reports led to bans (though others still upset that X person hasn't been banned).

You could have just said Defamation of character mate. That would have been a lot easier then making people go on google to look what Libel is XD
