As long as the little johnny's continue to use mommy's credit card for silver purchases and preorders the video gaming industry will continue to squeeze every nickel possible out of the player-base.... This, while at the same time delivering the least amount of content they can get away with.. It's a proven formula that has worked. Why would any developer do things differently? Activision perfected it with COD and Bungie utilized this model with Destiny. Destiny's sales have been stellar since launch and ROI numbers were staggering! I'm not condoning this practice I'm simply stating the TRUTH.

    Its sad that it has come down to methods like that from those developers but rockstar has done the complete opposite and has still done stellar with their sales and support. Which is the reason for me stating that maybe bungie would be able to build a bigger fanbase and loyal consumers if they just supported content similar to rockstar instead of pushing out "new content" for quick cash grabs. Bungie probably made millions this halloween event off of a couple new masks and two ghost reskins. Shame on me for buying a box or two but shame on bungie for thinking that this kind of lackluster in content for a high price is what the community wants.
