Wasn't promised.
I don't recall being promised festival of the lost or SRL upon the purchase of Destiny.

At vanilla we were promised "updates and events" Pretty sure that festival was then specified as being one of those events at the purchase of TTK. Sparrow racing might be a different story but we are not talking about that right now.
