Okay, so people want to get specific items. Bungie want money and therefore to keep RNG. But with the whole Silver Dust thing, both are possible. In fact Bungie kinda implemented it, but did not go far enough: Step 1: Make every Eververse item destructable for SIlver Dust. (Note: Not ones from kiosks of course) Step 2: Make [i]every [/i]Eververse item avalible for SIlver Dust. Step 3: Add one more free Radient Box for people. Make it a avalible at the Postmaster per week so anyeone can get some. [b](Note: Very important part of the plan! Not everyone will do the heroric strike each week.)[/b] [i]IMMEDIATELY[/i], all issues are solved. Players can get what they want and dismantle what they don't. Silver Dust is slightly easier to get so people don't hate you. Xur has more use. Dusty Iron Engrams are brought more due to supply of Dust. Legendary Gear needing Dust to change look is not as much of a issue. People can save for seasonal events. And people are more willing to [b]spend [/b]on your RNG boxes, [i]because if they get something they dislike they can put it towards something they DO.[/i] (BTW, if you implement this please do so before SRL.
