Oh my god. Pokemon is not a good game. It is too cartoony to be considered a serious game. The game elements are too simplistic for it to be considered hardcore. Does not mean I cannot respect people who play games that are not hardcore, but I would never play it. I gave you a bump anyways.

You think this is simple!? Let me take you through the steps of the easiest way to get a perfect Milotic in pokemon Diamond and Pearl: 1. Go to the lake with almost 600 tiles and check each of them to see which 4 have a chance to encounter Feebas in [i]on that specific day[/i]. Proceed to catch the Feebas. 2. Breed it with a pokemon in the same egg group and a bold nature holding an everstone. Replace pokemon with lower IVs with children with higher ones (there are 6 IVs, each ranging from 0-31) until you get one with max IVs in every stat but attack (which doesn't matter for Milotic). 3. Grind your new Feebas's EVs up by killing specific pokemon (geodudes, bidoofs, and tentacruels work best) until you get max HP and defense EVs with some in defense. 4. Get a friend or three to help you bake high level dry poffins so you can max out Feebas's beauty stat without raising its sheen too high. Level it up to evolve it into Milotic. 5. Find move tutors and TMs or level it up to teach it the moves that you want it to have. Tadah! You now have a decent physical wall that probably wasn't worth it!

A creature that does a cheaply designed animation that looks like a cartoon character that my son can draw in 10 minutes? I mean I seen the Pokemon and it looks all silly and childish. Maybe there is something hardcore about it, but to me it just looks so cartoony and old fashioned that I just ignore it outright. Does that make me a bad person, that I don't like something you like?

Art style is not representative of the final product or it's demographic, you probably think that anything cell shaded is also for kids.

If they made a Pokemon game with realistic graphics, even like a Cell shaded style like in Borderlands or even half realistic cartoon like GTA style that would be better. The style of the animation is very basic. And thats the main reason why I don't think its a serious game. It's just tlooking like a Saturday morning cartoon with all these fluffy characters that look like they were torn out of a little girl Princess dream. As a grown man there is no way you can admit to liking those Pink fluffy characters. It isn't manly, its girly. Its kiddie. Its sad.

By that logic you are dismissing any game that uses a 32 bit artstyle and some fantastic games that use a cartoony artsyle, namely games like Bastion, the entire Tales series, and Catherine (absolutely not for kids.)
