Proof That Streamers Do More Damage

Destiny's PvP is unbelievably unfair and unbalanced. Here is the proof that some (or specific?) players do more damage, then the other players. At 2:35 mins in the first video this streamer body-shots a player with 60% armor left and he dies: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AS-butYdbp4 The streamer's light is 388. The same week on the same Trials map, with the same sniper i body-shot a player with 40% armor left and he doesn't die: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yf0oII9Pazo I'm 400 light. What is this Bungie? I'm complaining about this problem for 2 years now. Why do some players do more damage, then the other players?

  • That's not evidence. There are to many variables. Also it's just implausible that Bungie messed with their game to find a way to make streamers do more damage. Instead of putting on your spinmetal hat, think through it logically. You'll probably find a good answer and not a conspiracy theory.

So the guy the streamer shot is running recovery/agility and the the guy you shot is running straight armor. Did he shoot a hunter and you shot a warlock wearing a ram? Were you using the same sniper with the exact same perks?? There's way more to crucible than what you shoot someone with. People can use different armor stats so you can't judge from a little white armor bar. And in a level matters playlist, 12 light doesn't make THAT much of a difference...just look at all the 340ish light players winning one on ones with 365+ in iron banner.....Bungies level matters has always been a wash

      • This game is there job they should be good at it. If I played pvp everyday 10 hours a day I would also be top tier.

      • Like other people have said, you are missing several key variables, can melt the armor stats of the person you shot, band of the person the streamer shot. Just goofing around the other day in regular crucible with no ll advantage I body shot killed a hunter at full health with the raid sniper. I occasionally stream for extra life. Am I know a golden God? No.

      • That is zero proof of anything. You don't know the light level of the guardian mtashed hit, and you don't know how their armor stat is. The high impact snipers can 1 shot body a low armor stat guardian, but do less damage to someone with a high armor stat. Along with that, a 20-30 light difference is 3-4%. For something that's hitting normally for 150, that could mean it hits for 155-157 on someone 20-30 light lower. There's a boatload of precipitating factors, especially in a light level enabled playlist. The only way you will prove anything is to have someone with the same sniper shoot the same person with the same armor stat. And you can try that and you'll find that there's no advantage to anyone and you are just salty.

Your not taking into account the enemies armor rating or the enemies light level, it seems.

      • It's the armour value that lets them 1 shot if your running low armour a high impact sniper will 1 shot doing 183 damage low armour guardians have 180 health. Light only matters if a 20 light difference is there and it's only like 2 or 3 damage so nothing that will effect the game.
