I can't get throwing knives to work no matter what I do. I've tried incendiary blade, head shots, body shots. Even getting them to a sliver with the knife throw then letting the burn kill them. The kills just won't count towards the bounty. There seems to be conflicting reports about this but I tested it for quite a while and it never worked for me.

I think that's right, I was just seeing people reporting it works for this if you let the burn kill them. But it doesn't for me.
