Its sad that people actually fear these clowns. They actually haven't attacked or hurt anyone, they are just being creepy to freak people out and its working.
The best way to deal with these clowns is to go out and get a seltzer bottle and if you see one, spray it in their faces. It is their weakness.
That or a pie to the face but a seltzer bottle is easier to carry all day and fits in a backpack or big purse. Pies would be to cumbersome to be effective.

That's the issue. Not everyone has one or can afford one. Seltzer water and pies are much easier to obtain.

Kidnapped kids? I haven't heard anything about that. All I've heard had been them standing creepily in dark areas, maybe making threatening gestures but they all seem to run away if approached.
