The stats show Bungie need to make fast changes.

http://guardian.gg/en/weapon-stats?platform=1&start=2016-09-01&end=2016-10-11&mode=12&activity=0 If you look at the kills here, there is 1 special weapon which is outperforming every other. Even with limited ammo in special weapons, the shotgun is ahead of some primaries for kills. The shotgun is also now getting triple the kills of snipers with that gap increasing day by day as more shotguns drop for people while other special weapons are pretty much flatlined. There are 2 clear issues that this highlights. Shotguns are special weapons which means they should be used in their specialist situations BUT they are getting as many kills as primaries and above and beyond any other special which shows they are performing far far beyond what should be their intended means. There should be no point in which a weapon with supposedly limited ammo should be getting so many more kills than all other specials and is even beating out most primary weapons. This is because the range on shotguns is too much for the map design and game mechanics provided. While snipers have seen the heaviest nerf of any weapon class Bungie have ever done even though they have always had half the average kills of what shotguns have and shotguns have always been beating even primary weapons. Bungie, the balance in this meta is clearly broken and it has put crucible in its worst and most toxic state ever. You have punished skill and thoughtful play in favour of the easiest to aim weapon in the game and brainless thug charging or camping crouched round corners. We are at a point in this game where Bungie have removed any challenge. Sticky grenades track around corners! The only weapon people are using takes absolutely no skill to just look in the general direction of an enemy for an instakill from ranges beyond where they should be. You made the nightfall strike a glorified heroic strike with no worry if you die. From year 1 to year 3, Bungie have punished skill and made the game less and less challenging so people dont have to aim to get better.
