They just need to improve the walk in match making. Right now, if you go in too fast it puts you in alone. If you walk really slow into the area it gives it time to load and matches you with other players.

Even then it still won't work. Granted the other night I got lucky where there were 2 other players. Knocked out quite a few rounds. That was after walking in and out and around the Plaguelands for over an hour already.

Works for me, almost every single time. You have to basically crouch and walk really slow into the tunnel and up the stairs to the forge. If this doesnt work, you can go down inside the siva cut out inside the arena, down to where the enemies will spawn, kill a couple, then slowly return to the forge. This method does work, it's got a near 100% success rate for me.

I heavily doubt crouching and walking slow does anything. At most, what you're doing is changing your player state from standing to crouched and from running to walking. I've done the "slow" thing, and still can't get anyone.
-
You're 100% wrong. I can get on my sparrow and speed into the encounter 20+ times and not see a person. Walk in very slowly, almost every time get paired with a group already running one. There's plenty of youtube videos on this. Why it works isnt completely clear, but it definitely does.

Considering matching instances doesn't happen until you actually hit the "loading screen" between zones, I still doubt it. If you use a sparrow 20+ times, then walk in slow? There's no difference in instance transfer times. You're probably being put into a different instance at that moment you do. Instances work in a weird way in Destiny. They refresh within a time limit I believe, or they could even be random. I doubt player states have any effect on it. Look at it like this. "Sparrow isn't working! Been going back and forth 10 times now!" "I'll walk slow. No one?" Then you walk out of the area, then walk back. No one? Walk out, walk back. People there. "OMFG IT WORKS!!! FIRST TRY!!" That's pretty much what is happening.

I'm not going to argue about something PROVEN to work. It's literally every where, and has been confirmed by tons of respected people in the community. I've had it work flawlessly myself. You don't know how bungie match makes in patrols.
-
"confirmed and proven" through circumstance. I don't know how Bungie matchmakes in patrols, but I can guess using information from other instance based games. There are dozens of instances happening at once. It all depends which one you'll get into. Either time or just random. Player states are confined to the player only. It's a placebo. You guys are only believing it to be the case, cause "respected people" had "confirmed it" in "controlled" tests. It could very well be random. The fact you try a sparrow several times, then try walking a few times, means nothing. It just means the game decided to drop you into another instance at that time. Doesn't confirm anything, other than you've done it enough to get into a populated instance.

Keep going into archons solo, then i'll walk slow for 15 seconds and get a group right away.
-
Except I've gotten into a group dozens of times now by going in with a sparrow. Sometimes walking doesn't work. Sometimes it works. Sometimes sparrow doesn't work. Sometimes it works. It's just player state. Each "matchmade" instance takes a second to transfer to. You're also over-exaggerating. People do that to win arguments. I doubt it's always 100% worked on first try.

I'm saying this to help other people, i would never find a group going in fast, and had to lfg or find friends to help after 20+ minutes of trying. As soon as I learned of the crouch walk, I get groups very quickly. And actually got the bounties finished.

Better yet, crouch and walk through the back door near site 6. That way, you don't have to pay to enter a match in progress...
-
Hmmm maybe I'll try EXTRA slow from now on. I would sometimes walk in backwards and looking down. (lol Halo days)
