Tatakai is an incredibly diverse planet home to many nations, cities and types of people and landscapes. It makes it so the planet always has something new to be discovered or created(unlike No Mans Sky). Therefore, this list shall never truly be complete. BUT. Known locations are….
MAJOR LANDSCAPES
The Dojo Mountains: The dojo mountains house the finest warriors in the world. They also house some of the most apocalyptic events. The mountain range is incredibly vast, stretching on for miles in every direction. Its located in the direct center of the Eastern hemisphere, making it an incredibly unique as well as superstitious location to outsiders. The dojo mountains house many flat green platueus, allowing for crafting and building to be incredibly easy. Winters are mild, and summers are warm. This is your home.
The Shi canyon: A dry lawless canyon, this is the bandits play ground. A train rides through the entire canyon, delivering anything the mob, bandit and freelancer bosses can put on it. Many villages are located in this region, but it seems that even more are raided for supplies these days.
Ko Rudo mountains: Cold, snowy, blizzards happening every other day. The Ko Rudo mountains are a harsh environment for anything to live in. The mountains are the tallest in the world here, but it’s the secrets within the mountains that is truly interesting. Pack a winter jacket, its gunna get cold.
The Woods: Right at the eastern foot of the dojo mountains, lies miles and miles of forest. Many a creature call this place their home, and many villages like to settle here for the long reaching river that flows throughout the woods and the surplus of forestry.
The Dekishi ocean: Making up 30% of Tatakai, the dekishi ocean is home to the majority of sea life located on Tatakai. Pirates call this place their home, and enjoy raiding the ocean side villages for plunder and other goods.
The Byoki desert: A dry barren desert, much like earths Sahara, the byoki is always hot in the day and always freezing in the night. This desert is mostly barren, save a few villages. But its what’s buried under the sand that makes this a favorite digging spot for archeologists, and a hideout for the worlds worst killers.
Kakusa grove: On the opposite side of the world of the dojo mountains, lies the kakusa grove. While the grove is densly populated with trees and color, as well as the clear blues of the stream flowing throughout it, it is home to a power struggle between two ancient groups of people. Why they fight, no one knows. For their war is one shrouded in mystery.
Tatakoi planes: Home to some of the worst wars to be seen on Tatakai, the Tatakoi plane is a completely green flatland, save some rise and fall in the landscape. While its soil is bloodied with thousands, it is nearly always a tranquil place to reflect, ponder and train.
Isle of the Blessed
Within view of the shorelines a singular island can be seen in the ocean. No matter where you look from. This island is the fabled Island that holds the Cup of Life.
This cup can bring any single person back from death.
However, the island cannot be reached by anyone, and no one has ever set foot on it.
Caves of the Mountain
From the very top of the dojo mountain to the very bottom, there are many chasms and caverns scattered about the slope.
