Internal Affairs- Wonderful World- Part 1

Author's Note- Hello and welcome back to another part OF Internal Affairs. Have a cookie, and enjoy! Internal Affairs The sniveling huntress fell to her knees, as the large ball of fire dissipated and left only a charred broken ship. The Huntress had been staring at the ship for hours, ever since Zavala left the crash site. She watched as piece by piece it fell apart, first the wings, then the engines. All until it was merely the size of a car, a burnt one at that. There had been no comfort for the Huntress no noise no sights, just the whipping wind nipping at her nose until, a strange mechanical noise rang in her ear. She sat up in alert searching to and, fro for what could've made the strange noise. She couldn't see it, but she could still hear it. The Huntress slumped back down to her knees, assuming the noise was a figure of her imagination. "Guardian? Eyes up Guardian." The Huntress, frightened, jumped up from her sorrowful pose swinging her head in every direction in a nonsensical manner. Finally, she found the source of the noise. It was a Ghost, hovering directly above her head. The Ghost dawned a basic Verdant green shell but, what fascinated her the most is its standard blue eye was switched with a bright red eye. "You're, you're Anons Ghost!" The Huntress shouted, her red eyes slowly returning to her normal blue color. The Ghost shifted its shell so it could speak, "yes Guardian. Do not shed tears over Zavala, he is not worthy of them." The Huntress nodded in response and sniffled once more, she sat back against the charred ship, wiping the remaining tears away with her hand. "Now, Guardian if it's alri-" "My name is Clarimonde, not Guardian." The Huntress said sharply. The Ghost nodded in understanding. "Well Clarimonde, if it's alright with you, I would like to bring my Guardian back." The Ghost responded calmly. "Of course," she nodded shakily as Anons Ghost reformed Anons skeleton and slowly worked around it, creating skin and organs out of light. The Huntress sat, watching the guardians rebirth thinking about whether to end his life or not. If she killed him, she would be praised by Zavala, possibly a few others. However, many Guardians may look down on her for her deeds. They may even end her life. If she let him live, she could be accused of assisting a criminal. Though she could discover why they wanted Anon after his heroic deeds in the Vault. Killing The Time's Conflux was not an easy task. Even with the near ten people that took part, that's why only one survived. The sound of a Handcannon's hammer cocking brought her out of her thoughts and back into grim reality. Anon was pointing a gun at her forehead, his finger squeezing the trigger, as if daring her to make a move. "Go ahead." She said, her voice empty. She was prepared to die. Not for Zavala and, most certainly not for the Guardian order. She was prepared to die to end a lifetime of lonely agonized suffering. Anon looked at her, his eyes full of sadness. Though Clarimonde couldn't seem them through his helmets visor. He understood her. He knew what it was like to want to die. Never deal with the problems Guardians face, never have to deal with the pain of someone's death, never have to deal with ANYTHING ever again. He sighed in despair, putting the heavy Handcannon down. "No, no, no. Kill me!" She begged him angrily, breaking down into tears once more. She felt so alone, Unwanted, and completely one hundred percent hopeless. Her head throbbed as she made an ocean of sorrowful tears, her head spun at a million miles per second and then, she felt a hand on her back. The hand felt warm and soothing, and she gladly embraced it, her heads throbbing melted away, her head spun no longer and she felt for the first time ever, hope. She fell into Anons arms, her tears rolling down his bronze plated shoulders. Her long brown hair fell into her eyes, as the whirling winds of the Cosmodrome pierced her wet cheeks and blew the tears from her eyes. After what seemed like centuries, Clarimonde pulled away from Anon, her blue eyes red again from the tears. She gave Anon a half smile as her helmet formed around her face. She then stood, and pulled Anon to his feet. "Go." She said abruptly, not wanting to be the one responsible for Anons uneeded death. "Come with me. Help me." Anon urged. The suggestion caused Clairmonde to move back a foot, gazing at Anon. "I shouldn't." "You could." Anon's voice sounded hopeful, trying to convince her. She evaluated the thought once more, "I could..." She nodded somewhat reluctantly, agreeing to go with the Hunter. "What can we do?" She asked, taking pride in her choice. Anon chuckled, "We expose them. The Speaker, Zavala, Everyone." -------------------------------- End Of Part 1 Thanks to Echo (now known as North) for editing!
