This is why everyone says american news media is shit, clearly you've never left your home town in the middle of nowhere and form your opinions on that basis.
My advice?
Don't believe all the crap you've read, experience the world for yourself and form your own opinions.
I've been all over Europe and the US and I can tell you fact you are so so wrong. Unfortunately the problems you say we have don't exist and you have absolutely no evidence to support anything you just said. While your very real problems with children massacring each other in your school's with firearms goes entirely unnoticed. And you suggest I'm the one that can't see whats really going on.
Americans wanted slavery long after we condemned and banned it. It seems like it will take you even longer to realise just how socially far behind us you really are.

I'm an Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom US Navy Veteran. After my 5 years in the theater I came home honorably discharged for medical reasons in 2004. Since I have been an OTR Hazardous Materials Truck Driver and Instructor with TSA Clearance and have been on every mile of US and Interstate Highway in US/Canada over 5 million miles accident free.

Disrespect? The issue in discussion is the social condition of the United States. You totally ignored that and brought up something completely irrelevant like your service history and the amount of miles you have driven. If you can't defend your position fine, but don't make frail attempts to turn that around on me.

Unless of course you can't actually argue the case of the real issue. Then I can see why you would try to change the direction of the conversation and focus on this instead. But I'll humor you - fair enough you aren't a small town hick and so must have seen first hand there is not a single shred of evidence to give credibility to anything you said. Everything you said regarding Europe and the UK is nothing but speculation on your part. Americans like yourself are obsessing over a problem that doesn't actually exist while ignoring the ACTUAL day in day out problems that you face. Chief among those issues would be things like - lack of any real healthcare system, frequent mass shootings particularly in schools, ghettos in a country with the largest economy in the world. All things that Trump would only worsen because he is a billion dollar businessman who doesn't care about issues like that he has never had to face them nor will he ever. I mean honestly when you say things like - "we have guns in our pockets and no one will ever be able to stop them. We have multiple faiths to oppose a single rule and cannot be lumped together." do you actually believe that or do you just want to pretend for 5 seconds that you are in some sort of hollywood movie about freedom, liberty and the ameri...blahblahblah?
