But in all seriousness are we going to try to keep the current city ideals and beliefs? Or try something different..I mean we do owe the Traveler for all it gave us and I'd feel like a scab shunning it..but did we get the full story? Could our fight against the Fallen be a misunderstanding? The weapons we got from Variks are useful could they make us more weaponry if we formed an alliance?
...let's visit that blackjack and hookers idea again..lol

I think that yes we misunderstood the Fallen, they are lost and their civilization fell apart. I'd only want to help them honestly.

I don't know...it may be years, or even a couple days. It's hard to tell with them.

Why do the Hive have gods and the Vex have sprawling time-bent minds and the Cabal have reinforcements? Why do the Awoken whisper to the stars and listen for the whisper back, the voices from the Jovians, the song in the dark? Why do the Guardians get the Great Machine's blessing, was it like that before the Whirlwind, were there Fallen heroes crowned in Ghosts who strode the battlefield fearless and full of Light? Why do they tell stories about reclaiming the lost glory of humanity, and no stories about the lost glory of Variks' people, the House of Judgment that once kept codes of dignity and law? [/spoiler]

I've been reading the grimoire the Fallen think we stole the Traveler..not sure how to go about clearing that mess up lol

We...give them a piece of the Traveler. You remember that one piece that was stolen by the Hive? We give that to them.

Had a thought process like that ..like it being seen as an insulting gesture that they don't deserve the gifts from the Traveler just a sliver of its shell or something.

Perhaps we could give them the light? They aren't part of the darkness after all. Only the Hive and Vex are.

Would they all have to die to be reborn with the light? ..I suppose Shin Malphur kind of inherited a Ghost from Jaren Ward..or maybe I read all of that wrong

Perhaps...wait...the SIVA Fallen...couldn't we use SIVA'S technology to bring them back from the dead? No this makes sense we just have to change the way that strand of SIVA works.

Have you read the research notes on that stuff? It sounds viable but the path to hell is paved with the best of intentions.

No no SIVA was originally made for one purpose, of which I cannot remember, if we could somehow trick SIVA into helping us, perhaps it could work.

It was intended for colonization..like to speed up the process of building colonies they'd send the SIVA out first then when the colonists arrived they'd have places to love research etc..or at least to my understanding

OK then maybe somewhere in there, there could be a way to save the Fallen. I'm not sure how, but I'm not giving up.
