1. No, most people can't....and a lot of the world's problems are the result of the relatively few people who are. 2. I'm 48, and have been watching politics closely for 40 of those years. My opinion doesn't "matter" more than anyone elses in a democracy. But mine is well-informed, and has the benefit of 4 decades of perspective and life experience. 3. Yep. Don't vote for the guy to whom you and your needs are of no significance and no reality....and who believes that your sole reason for existence is to give him wealth and acclaim. (How a pathological narcissist see himself and the world. Other people are just cardboard cut-outs who exist only to meet his own needs) 4. See, that's where life experience comes in. Its a very sharp sword that cuts through a lot of bullshit. I'm sure people used to think it would be "idiocy" to believe that a President would invade another country and not tell the nation. (Laos). That a President would use the FBI and CIA to investigate and harass his political enemies. That he would abuse the IRS in the same fashion. That a President would keep his own personal goon squad that would carry out various illegal acts on his orders. Culminating in burglarizing the political headquarters of a political rival----in an election race that he was winning at the time----then conspired to cover up the crime. Yet be foolish and paranoid enough to record himself doing it. That a President would actually have to be talked OUT of BOMBING a civilian institution (Brookings Institute) that leaked a document that was personally embarrassing, and frustrated his war policy in Vietnam (The Pentagon Papers.) I'm sure there were lots of people who thought it would be idiocy to think that anyone the American people elected to President would do these things. But, history shows that Richard Nixon did ALL these things and more....and several people who worked under his direct supervision were convicted of FELONIES committed on his behalf. That was what happened the LAST time this country put someone with a major personality disorder in the Oval Office. So no, my "idiocy" isn't showing. What is showing is my knowledge of what sort of human being we're dealing with in Donald Trump.

My sigularity needs should be of no significance to him since he should be more worried about the majority. Clinton has shown countless times, that she doesn't care for the people who are protecting her (agents, military) with her rash conduct and, of course, benghazi. Not to mention, her getting a reduced sentence for a man who -blam!- a 12 year old girl, and she knew he was guilty. Why did she stay with bill through infidelity if she such a strong woman? To progress in her political career. And you say trump is a pathological narcissist.......
4. See, that's where life experience comes in.
And what of the crimes hillary has already committed?
That was what happened the LAST time this country put someone with a major personality disorder in the Oval Office.
Again, hillary is a crook and yet she is still running. So your experience matters how?
So no, my "idiocy" isn't showing. What is showing is my knowledge of what sort of human being we're dealing with in Donald Trump.
Nope

Nice try. If you want to analogize Trump to others, stop looking at Hillary. Even if you believe all the things that the political right accuse her of (most of which are meritless) none of adds up to anything other than PETTY malfeasance. OTOH, all the dictators of the world generally fall into one of two categories. They are either psychopaths (Hitler, Stalin, Saddam Hussein) or they are narcissists (the Kim "dynasty" of North Korea). (Nixon probably had Paranoid personality disorder.) There is no "majority" in the mind of a psychopath or a narcissist. THERE IS ONLY "ME"...and what I want....and in the full blown manifestation of their disorder they are very SCARY human beings. Louis XIV's famous outcry "L'estat c'est moi" .....I AM THE STATE!!...is the battle cry of the narcissist who has been given power over others. Or as one friend-of-a-friend who knows him personally once said, "Donald Trump is the nicest guy you'd ever want to me......until the moment you disagree with him." (Until you show him that you are not just an extension of him and his own ego.) ...and you're going to put someone like THAT in a position where its going to be the job of the entire media...and HALF the government to be CONSTANTLY disagreeing with him. Yeah. right.
What I have stated about Clinton is from my own research. Getting a rapist, who you know I'd guilty, a reduced sentence, then stand by her "mirrors" commercial is just sick. Her email scandal, would've got my step sister court marshaled. She was some type of chief in the Navy dealing with classified stuff on occasion. Not petty offenses.......otherwise the people involved wouldn't have continually pled the 5th.......
OTOH, all the dictators of the world generally fall into one of two categories. He is worried about his legacy, so much so that he would do a good job just so he could be known as a good president to continue his legacy. Either that or burn everything. But at least with him we have a 50/50 chance.
Louis XIV's famous outcry "L'estat c'est moi" .....I AM THE STATE!!...is the battle cry of the narcissist who has been given power over others. • Wow. Don't get it. But then there are always people who don't. Talk about arguing over deck chairs on the Titanic.

  • I guess seeing that Clinton is out for her own personal gain was too much for you. So I ask again, with the evidence I have provided, and with hillary staying with bill during the adultery, how can you say she is not for herself? She spouts off about being a strong woman, yet has done nothing to show it.

  • Did you not read a damn thing I wrote? I've already STIPULATED to the fact that she is. I'm not blind, and I haven't lived under a rock for the last 25 years. So I'm VERY familiar with the public lives of both. Hillary Clinton is your typical venal politician. The poster child for Baby Boom ambition in a pantsuit. Mixed with greed. Yet knowing and accepting this, I still wouldn't vote for Trump, even if he were the Democratic nominee and not Hillary. Because as corrupt and venal as she is, her capacity for corruption has LIMITS. That is NOT the case when you give a person with sort of psychopathology that Trump suffers from REAL power. History has show that the result is often some of the most outrageous crimes against humanity. The man is damaged to the point that he is a threat to democracy itself. Just like Richard Nixon and his inner demons were.

I am addressing the issue. But there can be no reasonable discourse with someone who fails to grasp the difference between, petty personal corruption.... ....and a teperment and pattern of behavior that is a threat to democratic government itself. With someone who puts partisanship above the welfare of our very system of self-government. It's sad to see how far the Right has fallen. When it was clear that Nixon was acting more like a dictator than a President, Republicans stepped up, put Country First and forced Nixon to resign. Today. All they do is make excuses and act like schoolyard bullies that never grew up.

I have shown she is not for women's rights. She has shown she is not about women's rights by staying with bill through the adultery. She did this to further her career. I.E for herself, not the majority It's actually hilarious that you can't see that she is exactly what you claim trump is.......
With someone who puts partisanship above the welfare of our very system of self-government.
Again, hillary as well.........
It's sad to see how far the Right has fallen.
WTF???? The DNC was deliberately against the other candidates, but it's the right that is bad? You're dilusional....
When it was clear that Nixon was acting more like a dictator than a President, Republican stepped up, put Country First and forced Nixon to resign.
Nixon was 40+ years ago. Do you know that will happen with trump? No. Shush with that already.
