you tried the code unlock from year one?
HC3-H44-DKC
There are a number of codes knocking around from year one that give emblems, shaders and unlock grimoire cards too. This one did the Gjallarhorn Exotic so may fix your problem.

Did not try it and I am aware that you have unlock codes for grimoire but unlocking the weapon should unlock the grimoire normally. I think I will try the code anyway because obviously no destiny team member is replying to this issue anyway. Thanks.
